Kindly Embedded

Remember,
as fissures portray past pressure,
the lightness once easily endured.
Gentle carpet beneath callused tread
as the echoing sound reminds of soon
warming embrace from mother's hands.
Kindly replace the kneeling creature
as left undisturbed in its place.
As you, tornado of ivory, never worry
to be late, swiftly return to base.
Adventure to approach in abundance,
revolving in semesters with nature's tutor.

Remember,
as body aches, and society obscures
like the cloud once favored, the way
the tin rings in soothing symphony.
Your best friend for years, pure endear,
rushed through autumn fallen, until
her time too came to be near.
With patience, again the postured life
of spring will renew the green begin.
As you cut, and scrape, and escape the
burdens until age takes root, the
fertile surroundings: forever your muse.

Heres to you.
